Standard First Aid Recertification is 1-day course intended for people whose current Standard First Aid CPR AED Level C card is nearing expiry. It reviews proven methods for providing standard first aid to injured or ill persons.

Emergency First Aid Level A is fast-paced and extensive 1-day course that delivers proven methods for providing basic, urgent assistance to injured or ill adults. Through a combination of instruction, demonstration, and hands-on practice.

Provides a personal understanding of the effects of stress, loss, trauma and grief on others, with emphasis on self-care and personal protection.Teaches learners how to support themselves and others to cope with the effects of various types of stress.

AFA is a professional emergency response for firefighters, law-enforcement officers, oil and gas safety personnel and emergency medical services personnel.

This 20 hour course delivers Basic level of Remote First Aid that covers material in SFA & CPR, plus special material on techniques for wilderness and remote areas. It offers strategies for providing extended care for up to 24 hours.

The purpose of this module is for any person who wants to become an instructor for the Canadian red cross and complete their required skills evaluation.

This one day (8 hour) program is for those that have previously completed the Canadian Red Cross Emergency Medical Responder program or equivalent within ONE YEAR of the course date.

AFA is a professional level of emergency response including Firefighters, Law-Enforcement Officers, Oil and Gas Safety personnel and Emergency Medical Services personnel.

For recertification, standards remain the same with the following variations:

• 8-10 hours of teaching time
• Proof of current Remote First Aid or Wilderness Remote First Aid certification (or as
  legislation dictates) required.

Designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to correctly identify when it is necessary to administer supplemental oxygen. Participants will learn how to properly and safely handle and assemble the equipment.

The Purpose of this training is to certify instructors to be able to offer Teaching Experience opportunities within their organizations.
