This format is delivered in two sections. 5.5 hours on-line and 8 hours in the classroom.

Standard First Aid Recertification is 1-day course intended for people whose current Standard First Aid CPR AED Level C card is nearing expiry. It reviews proven methods for providing standard first aid to injured or ill persons.


Provides a personal understanding of the effects of stress, loss, trauma and grief on others, with emphasis on self-care and personal protection.Teaches learners how to support themselves and others to cope with the effects of various types of stress.


AFA is a professional level of emergency response including firefighters, law-enforcement officers, oil and gas safety personnel and emergency medical services personnel.
Full Time - Monday to Friday
Part Time - Weekends Variable


This 20 hour course delivers Basic level of Wilderness & Remote First Aid that covers material in SFA & CPR, plus special material on techniques for wilderness and remote areas. It offers strategies for providing extended care for up to 24 hours.


Comprehensive first aid and CPR techniques for those who need a higher level of training to work and respond to emergencies in isolated or wilderness settings. Training is also suitable for those who act as guides or supervisors for groups of people.
