First Aid Instructor
The First Aid Instructor Course is a two-day program comprised of two modules: the Core Training Program (Core); and the specific First Aid module. The Core Program covers general information pertaining to Heart and Stroke Foundation and the adult education principles fundamental to HSF courses. This portion is completed by The Instructor-Candidate prior to the two day program. The Candidate will be introduced to HSF policies, procedures and administrative requirements for delivering HSF courses, including use of the Resuscitation portal as part of pre-course preparation and post-course completion. The specific First Aid module introduces the Instructor-candidate to the educational materials and syllabus utilized in the delivery of the HSF Standard First Aid courses.

Prerequisites
All First Aid Instructor-Candidates must have a current Heart and Stroke Foundation Standard First Aid card or equivalent from another approved agency.
Application:
Register for the program By completing the Instructor application on the Heart and Stroke Portal
- Provide a copy of you current First Aid Provider card from any Approved Agency.
- Complete the Core Instructor Session if you have not already done so.
