The new EMR standards set out by the Alberta College of Paramedics requires each student to complete four main components to complete their EMR Certification
2020 Fee Structure
- EMR Core Program ($1950)
- Books and Materials ($375.00 + GST Digital Copies) or ($600 + GST Hard Copies)
- APDOC Driving Program ($650.00 + GST)(EMR Students Rate)
- ITLS Provider/Psychological Trauma in the EMS Patient /EMS Safety /A&P ($600 + GST)
- Total Cost taxes included $3656.25 (Digital Books) $3892.50 (Hard Copy Books)
Students can choose to take their Driving, ITLS, and Psychological Trauma in the EMS Patient through other Organizations and these fees would be removed form the cost.
The Western Institute of Emergency Education is an Approved ITLS , APDOC and Psychological First Aid approved Agency.
The WIEE has options for our students to chose from. Please note that ITLS and the APDOC Driving program are offered through our site, but the student can choose to take this at an alternate location. Proof of completion must be received in order to receive the EMR certification.

Refunds Policy: Registration Fee:
Any cancellations after 7 business days after you have been accepted, the Registration Fee is non-refundable.
Tuition Fees:
The EMR Program at is licensed by the Private Career Colleges Branch, Alberta Advanced Education. Cancellation and refund policies for the EMR Program are made in accordance with Training Regulation. Any refunds of tuition fees depend on the percentage of training provided as of the withdrawal date and are listed in the Enrolment Contract signed by WIEE and the student.
