The Western Institutes of Emergency Education is very excited to announce that they are now talking applications for their EmergencyMedical Responder (EMR) program. this new 240 hour program is approved by the Alberta College of Paramedics. Our program includes the Alberta Proffesional Driver Operator Course (APDOC) as well as additional certifications such as ITLS, Psychological First Aid and More. At the Western Institute of Emergency Education, we offer public safety training courses and certification to health care professionals, instructors, and the general public. Our courses are held in Western Canada at our Vermillion and Sherwood Park, Alberta locations. A selection of courses are also available online, making it even more convenient for you to receive your certification.
Your Source for Comprehensive Emergency Training
We're pleased to provide members of the public, as well as health care and emergency personnel with a comprehensive service offering. Experienced instructors offer a wide range of training designed to impart the knowledge and skills needed to improve safety and/or take action in a variety of emergency situations. With everything from a First Aid course to a Babysitting course, Neonatal Resuscitation, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS course), fall protection, ground disturbance training, and more, we are the only source you need for emergency training and certification.
These programs are offered to those seeking courses for their EMR prerequisites courses. These include Heart and Stroke Standard First Aid and Heart and Stroke BLS (HCP). This special rate combined price includes both programs.
