Mike Hoffman
Mike Hoffman has been in the Fire Services for over 35 years, and over 10 years in the EMS field as a Primary Care Paramedic. Mike is currently working full time with Covenant Health as the Fire Safety Consultant.
You may have seen Mike on television or heard of him on the radio when he worked for the Heart and Stroke Foundation as the National AED (automated external defibrillator) Program Manager where he and his team were successful in deploying in just 18 months 4234 AEDs to arenas and recreation centers, collaborating with multiple EMS and Fire Services across Canada, trained just over 42K people and saved over 45 lives, thanks in part to the Federal Government for the 10M in funding for this project.
Mike's instructional background spans over many years, currently Mike is an Instructor Trainer for HSF programs - BLS and First Aid, Physiological First Aid First Aid Instructor - Red Cross, APDOC Instructor, Fall Pro, Forklift Instructor.
In Mike's spare time he enjoys golfing and spending time with his 4 grandkids!
